Wings of Passion

Nothing spells out the city of Buffalo more than their signature buffalo wings. Seen here are 4 flavors of wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. Going clockwise from the top we have Teriyaki, Caribbean Jerk, Asian Zing and Mango Habanero. The wings are deep fried to give it a crispy texture before being coated with these signature sauces.

Teriyaki, being the most predictable of the lot offers you your usual Japanese inspired fair. Either you love it or hate it.

Caribbean Jerk, being on the spicy side if you have an American tongue offers a slightly different twist to the usual hot sauce most people area accustomed to. Personally I was never a fan of jerks (both the noun and adjective version), but I have really started to love this Jamaican concoction of various herbs and spices. Traditionally cooked over pimento wood fire the wings here are, like all other flavors marinated with prepared jerk sauce. Takes some time, but you'll love it once you get accustomed to it.

Asian Zing is a popular choice especially for, well, Asians. The sauce is basically the Thai chilli sauce most Asians would be familiar with, giving it a sweet, mildly spicy and sassy taste. Probably the best among the lot. Do get this if you are visiting Buffalo Wild Wings.

The final one here, Mango Habanero is probably the most controversial choice. I've met as many people who love it as those who hate it. This could be attributed to the fact that the spiciness, being on the high end of the scale is turning people off, especially Americans who generally have lower tolerance for spiciness compared to Asians. As for me, while it's not on the top of my list of favorite, it's not something I'd totally avoid ordering either. The sweetness of the mango coupled with the high degree of spiciness does give it some good kick, especially if you're a fan of spicy food. Definitely worth a try. Then only decide if you like it.

Buffalo Wild Wings, a sports bar is definitely a good place to go to if you are interested in trying buffalo wings beyond the usual hot and barbecue sauces. On every Tuesdays, buffalo wings are only 40 cents per piece so you can pretty much have a decent meal for just under 10 dollars.

Pimp my phone

Reevue's very first review!

Looks pretty familiar eh?

After some research and nosing into some tech forums, managed to "pimp" my Dopod into an eye-phone lookalike. It is definitely NOT as functional as the original, as I've only installed the interface as my desktop wallpaper (the buttons do actually work), but still lacking the other "cool" functions such as the slide2lock, finger scrolling and etc found on the original.

Still, worth the 5-hr tweaking which could have been put to good used i.e. reviewing for the finals. :P

Note: And Thank You Greg for the wonderful welcome note below which was signed off as me!

It has arrived!

Welcome people. Hope you like the funky design. It was totally my choice to use this template so if there's any comments about it being a little queer, don't blame my blogmate Greg for it.

As you can see, this is a review blog where we would attempt to pen out what we think about some of the things we encounter, be it food, movies, tech or fashion. The idea of including fashion as part of the review is entirely my idea, so again, please don't give Greg a hard time about it. In all probability, I will be the only one writing about fashion. Here is where we ordinary people pretend to know it all and talk intelligently about it. You can call this a JOATMON (Jack of all trades, master of none) blog.

We have committed ourselves to each make one review per week, to keep you all coming back. Hopefully we'll be writing something of interest to all of you. Do check back often. Thank you!
